It’s hard not to be inspired by Frewen College’s gorgeous country-house setting. With roots dating back over 100 years, it claims to be the oldest dyslexia-specialist school in the UK (and quite possibly the world), and its Sussex campus boasts the oldest walled garden in the county, an arboretum, 60 acres for pupils to run around in and a further 100 acres of ancient woodland beyond.     Frewen College takes pupils from age 7. Day fees for year 3-6 is £6,582 per term. Boarding fees for year 5-6 is £9,731. Please note that Boarding is available from Year 5 only, and subject to there being a suitable cohort.

    When space permits, occasional boarding is available to day pupils at £65 per night, £290 per week (up to 5 nights), or £170 per week-end (up to 3 nights). No extra charges are levied for boarding activities.

     





    Bursaries
    Frewen College offer a limited number of means tested bursaries which can cover up to 50% of fees according to need. There is currently no waiting list but a full financial declaration is required as a part of the application. 

    The school also operates The Admiral Frewen Centennial Bursary Fund, which provides up to two bursaries each year to pupils joining the Prep School in each of Years 3 and 4. These are also means tested and remain in place until the pupils leave the Prep School.
