Tonbridge publishes 2025 Community and Partnerships Impact Report
Tonbridge School has published its Community and Partnerships Impact Report
2025, celebrating a year of extensive collaboration with local schools, charities and
community organisations.
The report highlights the scale and impact of the School’s partnerships, with more than 7,000 pupil hours, over 6,700 staff hours and 227 events delivered across the year, working alongside 34 partner schools and a wide range of community groups.
Community engagement remains central to Tonbridge’s ethos, with initiatives designed to benefit both pupils and partners. Programmes such as Tonbridge Community Action see more than 110 pupils contribute weekly to projects supporting primary and special schools, local charities, care homes and environmental initiatives.
The report also showcases flagship events including Community Giving Day, which brings together pupils, staff and local partners across multiple sites, and a broad programme of fundraising activities that raised over £126,000 for local and international causes during the year.
From conservation work and science outreach to mentoring schemes and arts initiatives, the breadth of activity reflects a commitment to meaningful, long-term partnerships. Pupils benefit not only through developing practical skills and confidence, but also through building empathy, resilience and a strong sense of social responsibility.
James Priory, Headmaster, emphasises the importance of these connections, noting that community partnerships play a vital role in fostering confidence, communication and leadership among pupils, while also creating positive impact beyond the School.
The School extended its thanks to the pupils, staff, parents, friends and volunteers whose dedication has made this work possible and encourages continued collaboration with local partners in the year ahead.
