Sports Dinner

The annual Sports Dinner was, once again, a celebration of the achievements and contributions of our Upper Sixth students.

 

The event provided an opportunity for this cohort to reflect on and celebrate their shared journey at Churcher’s, particularly their dedication to school sport over the years.

A highlight of the evening was the guest appearance by Michael Owen, former captain of both Wales and the British and Irish Lions. His inspiring speech offered valuable insights into teamwork, resilience and commitment at the highest level of sport.

The evening featured a series of awards recognising outstanding performances across teams and individuals. Notably, the 1st VII netball team was honoured with the Team of the Year award, celebrating their exceptional success and teamwork.

As they approach the end of their time at Churcher’s, this was both a celebration and a heartfelt thank you to the Upper Sixth students for their lasting contribution to school sport.
